This episode is important because it is the first physical appearance of the Flying Dutchman. He turns up at the Krusty Krab after everyone was making fun of Spongebob for being scared of him. The Flying Dutchman doesn't exactly come out on top here, as he runs scared when he removes Spongebob's costume and gets an unexpectedpeek at his brain. The two get into a fight, and The Flying Dutchman eventually gets ahold of the register. However, the tray is released and hits him, sending him to Davy Jones' Locker. Here, Davy Jones is revealed to be the actor, Davy Jones. The Flying Dutchman may sound different in this episode, because Rodger Bumpassfilled in for the voice acting.
